Our Process

Step One:

Apply Online

Our top loan officers will review your income (specially your last two years), credit score, and financial statements to recommend a loan program that meets your needs. But we do not stop there - we also offer specialized loan programs for non-traditional applicants, such as gig workers and those with bad credit, through our unconventional and highly-personalized lending networks.

Step Two:

Acquiring A Loan Approval

If you meet the lender's requirements and like the loan program options, one of the lender's experts will contact you and explain the terms and conditions of your loan. They will provide you with all the information you need to make an informed decision, including the interest rate, repayment terms, and any fees associated with the loan.

After you have accepted the loan offer, we will review the final numbers and may request additional documentation to verify your employment and income. Once all the necessary paperwork has been completed and reviewed, we will schedule a closing date where you will sign the loan documents and receive the funds. And get ready to pop some champagne and say "cheers" to a brighter financial future!

Step Three: Closing Your Loan

Frequently Asked Questions

These are the most common questions we get asked from our clients about Mortgage Lending and Brokering in Los Angeles:

Is it cheaper to choose a mortgage broker?

Choosing a Mortgage Broker and Private Lender over working with a bank can offer you much more favorable mortgage rates and interest information. Mortgage brokers can carve out solutions to your problems, whether it’s a low down payment, limited credit history, or the desire to limit closing costs and/or avoid mortgage insurance.

Is the process of getting a Mortgage Loan easy?

Obtaining a mortgage loan with 55 Puertas INC. is pretty simple, yet it all depends on whom you finance with and your own personal financial history. Since we are aware of how hectic and demanding people's schedules are, we make every effort to make the procedure enjoyable and hassle-free.

What's the difference between being prequalified and pre-approved?

Prequalification establishes a general estimate of what you could potentially borrow, which is used to help establish your general range of home prices. Preapproval is a more specific estimate of what you could borrow from your lender and requires documents such as your W2, recent pay stubs, bank statements, and tax returns. When you want to give yourself a competitive edge over other buyers in the market, you can get pre-approved. Having a pre-approval lets sellers know that you already qualify for the home financing which greatly increases your chance of having your offer selected.
